Alex Gross (born August 30, 1968) is a visual artist currently working in Los Angeles, California. He specializes in oil paintings on canvas whose themes include globalization, commerce, beauty, dark mayhem, and the passage of time.[1]

Gross graduated in 1990 from Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California. Since then, he has become established as an artist in the Pop Surrealism movement.[citation needed]

Alex Gross has been exhibiting in galleries around the world since 1999, when he first began his fine art career in Los Angeles. 
This will be his tenth solo exhibition and his first since before the pandemic. He has participated in dozens of group shows in his career, and he has had six books published of his work. His most recent book, “Prison of the Mind,” was published by Gingko Press in 2024, and features oil and mixed media paintings covering the period from 2014-2024.
