Curt Hoppe Lives and works in New York, NYCurt Hoppe is an American artist and painter whose large-scale hyperrealist portraits document the downtown New York art and music scene from the 1970s to the present. He developed neuropathy in his hands, and it forced him to paint in a less photo realistic style that he uses today. He has works in the Modern and New Museum's permanent collection.
